Full Version: Upsherin Or Baseball Game?

Very Lucky Guy
You bought tickets many weeks ago to a baseball game between your favorite team and their arch rivals. As it turns out, your friend is making an upsherin for his son at the same time. Going to both is not possible.

Which would you go to (for women not interested in baseball imagine it is some equivalent thing you would be interested in)?
FYI

I"m not interested in baseball and would still pick the game (I've never been to a real game, iirc) and assuming it's just a friend (not nephew or son) I would apologize but explain that I have tickets to the game and am very excited about it.

No question, I would go to the baseball game...even if it was a nephew's upsherin. Maybe even if it was my son's wink.gif

It's an upsherin, it's no big deal. If it were a wedding it would be another story.

If it's Yankees - Boston you could probably scalp the tickets and make a good profit... but then you'd still be missing the game. It's a tough call.

If it were a football game instead of a baseball game it would be easy. Football.

I suspect that if the kid is slightly precocious he could be convinced to miss his own upsherin to go to the game...
