Several of us in the office got gift sets of this. My coworker looked around to return it so we could get cash & use it for something else, but since we couldn't figure out where it came from, I decided to use it.

(she left the job, see other thread).

I like it, but I'm asuming it's a luxury product...... what's the big deal ?

I've gotten it as gifts several times. I assume it's comparable to other high-end products (but I don't really know since I've never used anything else.)

well, i prefer on-sale pharmacy brands...

I used their foot cream. It was fine but not different or better than any other brand....

There's something about the name of this competing product that seems troubling...

Their only exceptional product is the mud mask.

I like Ahava. Their moisturizers are thick, which really helps my dry skin. It doesn't smell flowery or fruity, but it doesn't smell bad either, maybe like vanilla.

I'm actually wearing their hand cream right now.

Do you always try and hock gifts that people give you??? unsure.gif You never cease to amaze me...

As for Ahava products, my family LOVE them and my momma always makes me shlep as much as I can carry from duty free.
I have only used the dandruff shampoo which has since been discontinued, so I really have no opinion on the subject, but my family "knows their cosmetics" and aren't exactly frugal in shelling out money for things so if they rave about it it must be good.....

I think not....

My son and DIL introduced me to the hand cream which I quite like but I find it a bit gloopy and after a while it goes off and turns into a thick yellow unusable goo. I prefer "Aveda hand relief" which, despite its rather double entendre name, is an excellent product.
