So here's an economics related question- how much do they cost in the store(s) where you shop? One store had them for $6.89 for 4 oz.!! (at a nearby kosher store)
eta- that's almost $28/lb

Oh, and that's why I like that a good number of the nuts at Trader Joe's have a hashgacha!!!!!!!!
i dont' rememebr exactly how much they cost, but they ARE defintiely expensive. i don't use nuts that much in cooking.
Mine are 4.99 for 4oz (yes I checked the pantry). I use them in salads occasionally and in pesto. One package lasts a long time for me.
