Was watching it tonight. It's really great.

My mom liked it a lot so i recorded it. DH saw some of it and said it was mad boring ... and wondered why they referred to yeshivas as "schools that teach fables."

My parents loved this special and told me to watch-- I also enjoyed it very much. It made me want to go visit the Lower East Side Tenement Museum. I'm considering buying the DVDs for my parents.

I love this series. They also have one on The Jews of New York. I'll definitely purchase them in the future.
