Red Hare
I noticed that in the new L.L. Bean catalog - and I'm sure online - they have two kinds of collared polo shirts, the Stretch Double L Polo and the Saturday Shirt. The company tell me that The Saturday Shirt is lighter for the summer; however it doesn't come in as many colors.

Who has info on the Gap's shirt, I couldn't find them online, and are they lightweight, too?

Oh, that's sweet. smile.gif I'm trying to figure out a way to get them. I e-mailed them and asked them if they deliver to Canada...they have a GAP there, I don't get why they wouldn't ship to there. Though the truth is that I know that with Old Navy, the sizes are differently shaped in Canada and in the US, so I think I would want to get them from the US.

stupid company.

To me, what makes even less sense, is when a US company with stores in Canada will not take a credit card order on their US Internet site even to ship within the US if the address for the credit card is not a US address.
For example, I can't use the Babys R Us website or even call them to send an item to a US address with my Canadian Mastercard or Visa.

Oh...thanks for telling me that, I was gonna order them and maybe have my brother bring them or something, but not if it can't go on my parents' credit card. Stupid companies. Stupid backwards country.

I meant Babies R Us. The GAP I believe you can order from Canada and ship to a US address. I think we were able to use our credit card and just use the US address as the billing address.
It's just that some companies, like Toys R Us, require a billing address to be the same as the mailing address for the credit card.

Edited to add: I just checked our GAP.com account and yes, it's my Canadian credit card but the billing address is a US address of relatives to where we have shipped items.

Actually the dark blue/light blue combo was done by Willow Ridge at least 3 years ago.

You know what? I saw them today and they don’t feel light enough for a hot NY city summer.

I feel like summer is a long way off for me, but that I'd wear the shirt mostly in the spring and fall probably. Also, I could wear it to work in the summer (where it's air conditioned) so that would be a big difference. If it's really hot, only t-shirt material will do the trick. Or linen.
