Is it permissible to repair your car on CHM the way you can shoe a horse? Can you do any riding in a car, or does it have to be for moed/davad ha-aved/that sort of thing purposes?

I meant that I think it would have to be tzarich hamoed. I think so was referring to the second half of the line.
