Let's say there were a donut within the box. You don't wash for a donut because it's not pas haba bekisnin because it's deep fried, even if you eat a koveiah seudah. But if you are washing to eat all that mezonot, can the first thing you eat be the donut or do you have to start with one of the cakes?
There is an order between different kinds of mezonos, but I don't know it.
In fact there is a story about a young Rav (who grew up to be choshuv) that was offered a mixed plate of cake, he took one and ate it and some letz started shouting "look at our "Rav" he doesn't even know you're supposed to eat lekach first". So the rav to save face from forgetting this din said "Oh, I don't eat lekach" and for the rest of his life a piece of lekach NEVER passed his lips...... (there is a similar story about gebrocts)

Also, if I'm just saying mezonot, can I start off my licking the icing off of one them, or do I have to eat the cake part first?
Yes, because it is tafel to the cake
