What do you think of PDAs? Acceptable? Rude?
Do you DA in P?

If you're talking about an iPhone, I think they are pretty cool...
If you are talking about fornicating in public, I am forced to give a rating of two peyos down.......

I'm sure we've had dozens of threads on this.

I'm not terribly troubled when people hold hands, except if they are walking side-by-side and blocking the entire sidewalk, in which case I think they should be shot.

When people start kissing and sticking their hands down the other's clothing, that troubles me.

I also don't like hearing four-letter words every time I ride the local bus.

Was getting quiet in here. Thought it's time to start rehashing the old.

Last Thursday I was sitting in my car at the Vince Lombardi rest stop along the NJ Turnpike. Parked facing my car, one slot over, is a Jeep. A young couple (probably BF/GF) returns to the Jeep. The young woman gets into the driver's seat, and her boyfriend stands at the door with the door open. By this point they have noticed me sitting there (minding my own business but clearly aware of them). He proceeds to lean in and with his body against hers, kiss her deeply and passionately while they put their hands around each other. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. Then eventually he goes around to the passenger seat and they drive off (into the sunset, as the case was).

I agree. I think that even if there are old threads, sometimes a new thread is in order because it's a different crop of people and opinions.

Why not?

I don't mind rehashing the old. (In fact, I was thinking of bumping one of those topics recently.)

Nu?

I was never really concerned about it either way (though I don't remember what I posted in those threads from years ago) but lately I've found myself disturbed by a certain couple (only that couple). I think it's psychological and personal and that's why I didn't bump any of those threads.

Hmm.

Is it more disturbing when it's an outwardly frum couple vs a non-frum/goyishe couple?

For those who aren't disturbed by PDA's between heterosexual couples, how do you react to homosexual couples doing the same thing?

Definitely frum. I don't expect goyim to be overly snyus but frum Jews should know better....
