Please move the thread, problems with the MO social construct from bull to its correct forum. It was originally placed in bull because the intent of the thread was that it be consistent with threads that belong in that forum. However, that thread quickly moved in a totally different direction than the opening poster originally intended and therefore should be in fundamentals or society & culture.
Thank you in advance for the alacrity.

At least someone is accepting apologies today. I had someone who told me she did not accept my aplogy, even after apologizing about 7 times. (I turned the volume down on her TV remote)

I'm suspecting there is more to the story.

Not really. I was talking to my co-workers, and they all said she was a very nasty and bitter woman. She probably just wanted to get out of the hospital.

What made you turn down the volume? Was this a patient in the hospital? What exactly is going on here? What does turning down the volume have to do with getting out of a hospital?

Oops, I forgot some background. I work in a hospital. I went in to talk to her, and turned down the volume so we could hear each other.

You work in a hospital. From another thread, I assume as an OT. Is that correct? You needed to speak to a patient who was watching tv so you took the remote and turned down the volume without asking and she got mad at you and you apologized 7 times and she remained mad at you? Is that correct so far? Why is she in the hospital and why does she want to get out, and what has that to do with the incident in which you were rude to a patient?
