for a shabbos/yom tov meal? Would it depend if it's the evening meal or daytime meal? 1st day or second of yom tov?

for a bris or a kiddush on shabbos or yom tov? Would walking beyond the eruv deter you?

How far have you walked for a bris/meal/kiddush?
Psychodad
30 minutes for any meal sounds about right
Nechama
A hour, tops. It better be in the eruv because I'm going to wear sneakers and carry my shoes!
Very Lucky Guy
Thirty minutes. It also depends on the time of year. That time drops considerably in the middle of the summer.

I'm honoured when we get invited for a meal. We prefer daytime because night can be late and the kids get cuckoo after a while. We've been invited to a house where the walk is normally 20-30 minutes away and have gone in the middle of a snow storm

1 minute in summer ( i'm in israel, and it gets mighty hot in the summer)
1.2 hour in spring
30 minutes in winter
