Has anyone seen the benefits (or lack of) going organic? Is there a difference in flavor, quality, healthy, etc. of eating an organic chicken or vegetable?

I just ate an organic apple and the flavor was heavenly. It could have been a coincidence... but I'm wondering if anyone has any real info on the organic deal.

if it's true organic the taste is heavenly -- especially if you plant it yourself and watch it growing.. and then eating fruits of your labor-- no comparison to commercial synthetic food...
some organic is not really organic and then you wouldn't see a difference in taste.

I wish I can go all organic..

no experience with that... I am vegan.. (but I remember way back eating organic goat cheese and it was better than other cheeses.. ) I have lost the desire for dairy products.. I don't care for it anymore.. sometimes I think it would be nice to have that good feeling after one enjoys their pizza, dairy ice cream, cheese cake.. but I don't like that food anymore.. it's weird. Once you go on a healthy diet not only don't you crave it-- you don't enjoy it anymore.

update -(how come I forgot already of course I have experience with organic dairy-- it wasn't labeled organic but it was the real thing) I was actually the shomeret for chalav yisrael in the Swiss Alps.. we had milk straight from the cow -- it definitely tasted different. A friend of mine made the most delicious heavy cream, butter and yogurts.. Also in India I had many times the real thing -- from goats .. The Chabad Shliach in Puna has a few goats at home and makes her own real good dairy products.. and the best labne I had was in Pushkar.. Rajhistan India.

organic carrots are good, too.

I find a huge difference in taste between organic vs. regular. If I could afford it I would go completely organic but that's not feasible right now.
