You go out to eat on a first date and you realize on the way to the restaurant you don't like the girl. You already told her where you were going so you can't just go to Starbucks or the like. Would you suggest only ordering dessert?

Girls-would you consider such a suggestion a dead giveaway that he wasn't interested?
Shemmy
I would attempt some social grace and complete the date.

that's pretty fast to make a decision that you don't like the girl. Maybe she's nervous (or you're nervous) and not being yourself. Treat her with respect and finish the date as planned. In the big picture, it's one night out of your life but the guy should still conduct himself with derech eretz

I'd think "fantastic, another yeshivish guy who's too cheap/frum for dinner on a first date."

I would not think it means he's not interested.

No, I am not a selfish cheap bum....
Even if I don't like her, the chick still deserves the minimal respect due another human being....

Tell her that because their copepods aren't yoshon, you really can't go to that place on a Tuesday.

The mitzvah of not embarrassing/hurting someone might outweigh the mitzvah of marrying and having children.

Think about that.

Once you have started you might as well have manners and complete the date. No point being a jerk just cause you don;t like her.
