The park is not an option in the winter, and during the summer I have to have my husband watch non-walking child so I can go.

In general, I take a nap, play with kinderlach, read.

Usually by the time I finish lunch it is time for mincha or close to it. SOMETIMES I manage to take a nap for an hour or two...

Sleep from after the seudah until shiurim starts (both of us) or it's mincha time (dh)
lyric
First thing after lunch when MIL's carer comes and takes her back, I shlep MH out for a walk. How long the walk is, depends on when mincha is. When it's 3 pm I'm lucky if we get 3 hakafos round the block but in the summer time we could be out for an hour. Then we come back, I make us both a tea then we take a nice long nap. (In the winter he gets practically no nap, poor lamb..he gives a shiur at mincha time) When I wake up I go visit at least one, maybe two, sometimes 3 of my daughters or my middle son, all of whom live nearby, again depending on how much time there is left to Shabbos. Last Shabbos and this, there wasn't time to spend with both so one or other got broyges.

We usually have guest so our meal can take a while. After we clear off the table we put out fruits, nuts and nosh/cake. Some of the guests leave, others stay, friends come over. We shmooze, try not to gossip, some of us will play monopoly or backgammon.
Sometimes I retreat into my room to read a book. In nice weather, I'll take my kids to the park.
Tova
sleep, eat, read- usually head to shul at some point, especially to make sure there's garinim for shalosh seudos.
in the warmer months i usually walk around the park or walk a few miles and sometimes visit people in other neighborhoods.
