My chance for what?
To see this guy?

... is there any group that actually likes him?

You can give him all your constructive criticism about Israel, and maybe convince him to invite a Japanese Garin to come to Israel......

I've yet to encounter one.... He was a nobody that got lucky by kissing up to Sharon, and then got lucky again that he was put out of commission.

Sure..."lucky."

The Israeli politicians don't seem very approachable...
The foreign ministry said the idea of sendin emigrants to the middle east was "a little [difficurt]"
The ministry of international trade and industry, however, said it might make sense to make our own Jerusalem, in Tottori prefecture, complete with camels.

Seems there are at least 12 Japanese speaking people in Israel!

Motorola Looking to Japan To Invest in Israel

(IsraelNN.com) Motorola Israel general manager Elisha Yanai is accompanying Prime Minister Ehud Olmert in Japan and is looking for Japanese investors to back research and development centers in Israel. "Israel is very successful in high-tech, but most of the investment comes from the United States and Europe, and there is no reason why there shouldn't be Japanese investments as well," Yanai told Globes. He added that there are several Hebrew-speaking Japanese people in Israel who could help set centers in Israel.

"The work of setting up the centers should be left up to them," Yanai said. "There are at least 12 such people in Israel and half of them are up to the task."
