The Munkatczer once said there are 3 (unnecessarily repetitive statements*) in Yiddish:

1. Mayim Achronim Vasser
2. Gut Yom Tov
3. Hungrisher Naar....


*There is a word for this that escapes my mind at the moment. Sort of like the opposite of an Oxymoron.....

Redundancies (interestingly, the word "redundant" is actually redundant in and of itself)

The "Gut Yom Tov" thing has long bothered me.
