I asked my roommate about this post and after she said that both should be illegal and we argued a bit, she asked me the above.

It's like comparing Hamodia and Yated...
The Times may be a shmatta and clearly biased, but at least it still (vaguely) qualifies as a newspaper.......

Actually, the NY Times and the NY Post are very different and both are appropriate for their respective and very different target audiences.
(the Times is directed toward left-leaning intellectuals everywhere, while the Post is directed at working-class, "no-nonsense", streetwise New Yorkers)

The Post is more egregiously laughable but it's circulation is generally limited to the NY area and those people are pretty well brain-dead anyway.
The Times unfortunately circulates the globe like toxic waste or nuclear fall-out, and poisons about as many people in the process.

I'm required to read The New York Times daily for school, but my true love is my dear Wall Street Journal.

My socialist nutjob professor requires it so I have subscription that ends the moment the semester ends. And yes I have to have the print edition because I have to present actual clippings.

The WSJ is now the NY Post's step sister.
