I think it's very sad, not to mention dangerous, for these children to be growing up in squalor. It might take a village to raise a child, but it also takes two to tango, and you need two countries doing the tango to raise a terrorist. Besides, last time I checked, Minority Report was fiction...

We know how the money the UN sends the PA goes for improvement of living conditions for their people.

Why feel sad. These particular kids look like they are having fun playing in the rubble. They also look pretty healthy and well-fed to me. According to the New Israel Fund 35.2% of Israeli kids also live well below the poverty line. Funny how you never hear about that in the msm. rolleyes.gif

These two are unrelated issues. Poverty in Israel is a serious issue related to the economic collapse of the Israeli IT sector a few years ago, the economic and human fallout of the "second intifada", the economic fallout of the dismantling of Gush Katif and the growth of the unemployed-by-choice haredi sector. Many of the children in the picture are living in poverty as a direct result of living under a prolonged seige. Whatever the rationalization Israel has for what it does, whatever share of the blame Hamas has, and whether or not at the end of the day Israel is acting in reasonable self-defense or not, it doesn't diminish the human tragedy of the Palestinians.
