They say Bshaim the Arizal that if one abstains from chametz the emtire pesach, hashem will protect him from sin the whole year. What is the source for this idea? Did the Arizal write it? R' Chaim Vital? In general, where do we find these sort of Arizal-sayings?

It is brought down in the "Baer Haeitv" right in the begining of Siman 447, I am not sure were it can be found in the Kisvei Arizal itself
The arizal did not write anything, R' Chaim Vital did.
