(two women discussing purim seuda and general food for yom tov)

Woman 1: I make dis with de long lokshen...
Woman 2: Noodles?
Woman 1: No no, not noodles... it's the long one, you bake
Woman 2: Ohh, lasanyeh?
Woman 1: Yes, lasanyeh
Woman 2: Whats your recipe?
Woman 1: I put de ketchup and the peppers and...
Woman 2: Oh I heard you're not supposed to give recipes on Shabbes...

Gross. I hate ketchup. I do mine with spinach and ricota filling. It's yum but I think it can be expensive to buy all the incredients.

Agreed too! I point blank refuse to allow my kids to cover their pasta in ketchup, so i always try have a tomato sauce, or at least a carton of passata around. Ketchup is a relish used to dip french fries/pizza/potato chips into.

{sheepish grin} Spaghetti Napolitan (pronounced "napporitan") is made with ketchup as one of the ingredients...
