No, it goes by actual people, not screennames.

Question regarding the actual topic of the thread (I know the off-topic bit was my fault, sorry about that)--

Does it count if you know someone who posts, and you know their "real-life" identity, but they don't know that you know? I don't know how to count that in my vote. I figured it would, because I know the person and their username, but I was just curious.

Nechama, I guess it would depend on whether or not you know the person, and whether you also know their username. If you saw someone posting from a distance, even if you know who they are, you might not know who they are on H.com. But if you know who they are and what name they post under, I think you could maybe count it. Just my $.02.

Looking through the member list, I've counted at least 23. I'll have to count more carefully when I'm not so tired.

In fact, 2 of them are my relatives -- One of them, I didn't know until we PM each other. One person - I met way back in my HS days before H.com exists - no i don't know her personally.

Oh yes, my shadchan list is getting big these days - too big.

Sometimes I feel that I develop better relationships with shadchanim than with the dates they suggest to me. Quite sad On the other hand, maybe I should get to know those single shadchaniyot (gramm inc.?) a little better.
